Alex joined The Fidelis Partnership in 2024 as an Underwriting Assistant on the Property D&F team. Alex graduated from Kutztown University in 2023 with an Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining, he gained experience at Deloitte: Nautilus and the Bermuda Monitory Authority on their Long-Term Division team.

Anthi is a D&F Underwriter at The Fidelis Partnership. Anthi joined Fidelis Insurance in 2020 as a Risk Analyst for North American Property Reinsurance and joined the D&F team as an underwriter 2023. Anthi began her career in 2011 as an intern at Hiscox, joining Tokio Millennium Re as a Senior Analyst for the North American Property Reinsurance, Workers Compensation and Terror teams in 2012. Anthi graduated from University College London with a degree in Palaeobiology and a Masters in Quaternary Science.

Deneisha is an Underwriting Assistant at The Fidelis Partnership. Deneisha started at Fidelis Insurance in April 2020 as a Receptionist and Office Administrator and in July 2021, Deneisha joined the D&F team as an Underwriting Assistant. Deneisha previously worked at HSBC Bermuda.

Drew is an Underwriter on the US Treaty Reinsurance team. Drew joined The Fidelis Partnership in 2023. Prior to Fidelis, he worked as a Property Treaty Underwriter at OdysseyRe in Stamford, CT. Drew started his career on the primary side of the business, working as a Commercial Lines Underwriter at Penn National Insurance. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a degree in Government.

Jack joined the company in 2024 from Canopius in London where he underwrote a wide range of international reinsurance business. Jahvon is an Underwriter at The Fidelis Partnership. Jahvon joined Fidelis Insurance in 2015. Originally working in the operations department he switched to underwriting supporting North American Underwriting. He now supports the Property Reinsurance team on whole being both International and North America. Jahvon graduated from St. John’s University in New York City with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations.

Jim is a Senior Underwriter on the Asset Backed Finance and Portfolio Credit team. He joined The Fidelis Partnership in 2024. Prior to Fidelis, Jim worked in mortgage analytics at Guy Carpenter in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to that, he was at Fannie Mae for 10-years where he contributed to the structuring and launch of both the Single-Family and Multifamily CRT programs. Jim started his career in the capital markets structuring mortgage and asset-backed securities at Bear Stearns and UBS. He graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Finance and Engineering. He is a CFA Charter holder.

James joined The Fidelis Partnership in 2023 as an Underwriter on the Specialty team. James joined Fidelis from Validus Re where he was responsible for providing pricing analytics for Marine, Energy and Property treaties. Prior to this, James was responsible for providing actuarial support across pricing and reserving within the Aerospace division at AIG. James has a strong technical background, qualifying as an Associate Actuary (AIA) with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2023. James graduated from the University of Kent with First class honors in Actuarial Science.

Kevin is Head of US Treaty Production at Fidelis MGU, having over 15 years of US reinsurance experience.  Kevin joined Fidelis in 2017 as a US Treaty Underwriter after starting his career at Guy Carpenter in Philadelphia with a focus on the US mutual marketplace.  Kevin brings a vast range of experience, having began his career in catastrophe modelling and exposure analytics before transitioning treaty broking and ultimately onto underwriting.

Mark is Deputy Group Head of D&F Property at The Fidelis Partnership. Mark joined Fidelis Insurance in May 2020 as an Underwriter for Property Direct & Facultative. Mark began his career at Commonwealth Insurance Company in Vancouver Canada in 2004, becoming the Senior Underwriter for production and marketing throughout the US. In 2012 Mark moved to London to work in the Lloyd’s of London marketplace where he helped build the Navigators and Vibe property portfolios. Mark has a BA degree in Education from the University of Alberta.

Mykal is an Underwriting Assistant on the US Property Treaty team, joining in January 2022. Mykal graduated from Thomas College in the class of 2020 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration.  Prior to joining The Fidelis Partnership, he worked as a youth basketball trainer and watersports instructor. Mykal is also a member for the Bermuda Men's National Basketball Team.

Nadia is Group Head of Property Reinsurance at The Fidelis Partnership. Nadia joined Fidelis Insurance in 2021 from Willis Re where she led the London desk handling German, Austrian and Swiss client reinsurance business. Nadia was also responsible for Willis Re’s International Alternative Capital Practice Group. In her role she managed global accounts as well as regional clients with a focus on German speaking markets. Nadia has a strong technical background, obtaining a diploma degree in Mathematics from the University of Leipzig and qualifying as an actuary with the German Institute of Actuaries in 2019.

Paulina is Senior Contracts Wordings Counsel at The Fidelis Partnership. Paulina joined Fidelis Insurance in 2022. Paulina has nine years of insurance industry experience, specialising in multiple lines of insurance business. She was previously employed as Cyber Claim Counsel at Travelers, and prior to that as Wordings Attorney at Beazley. Paulina is a US-qualified attorney, having graduated with her Juris Doctor from University of Connecticut School of Law in 2019.

He previously worked with ffh Management Services (Fairfax company) where he held Reinsurance Technician and Team Leader roles. Seán also completed a 24-week intercompany rotation programme in London with Advent Syndicate in 2017 with the Exposure Management and Casualty Treaty teams. Simon joined Fidelis Insurance in 2019 from AmTrust where he was the Chief Underwriting Officer for the Mortgage & Credit division. Simon has over 20 years of experience in insurance in a variety of roles ranging from underwriting to operations to project management. Previously he was at General Electric and Genworth Financial. Simon holds a Masters of Engineering from the University of Cape Town.

Craig Group Head of Claims Operations at The Fidelis Partnership. Craig joined Fidelis Insurance in 2021 from Scor where he was Global Claims Reporting manager, bringing strong claims operational, reporting and reinsurance experience and knowledge of the London market and APAC region.  Craig has over 18 years of experience working in the insurance industry including working for a Lloyds broker and the Lloyd’s claims team.

Danny is Head of Ireland Claims at The Fidelis Partnership. Danny joined Fidelis Insurance in 2021 and brings over 23 years’ experience in Technical, Operational and Strategic Claims Management. In his most recent role at AmTrust, Danny held a Technical Leadership role, covering multiple lines of business and territories across Europe and North America. Prior to that Danny held Senior Management positions at FBD, Quinn and AXA Insurance.

David joined Fidelis Insurance in 2020 following a 30 year career at Amlin, most recently as the Global Claims Director responsible for claims across all of their regulated entities. David has experience across multiple classes of business, managing technical claims as well as Operational and Strategic Claims Management roles. He has held a variety of Committee roles in the London Market through the years, and is a strong believer in delivering a first class claims experience for our Clients globally.

Karen is Head of Bermuda Claims and Operations Manager at The Fidelis Partnership. Karen joined Fidelis Insurance in 2021 as a Senior Claims Adjuster in the Bermuda office.  Prior to joining Fidelis, Karen was at AIG in the Multinational division where she held several roles, from producing to reinsurance recoverables, and eventually to managing the main reinsurance services office responsible for handling all of AIG’s global fronting programs.

Matthew is Head of Speacialty Claims at The Fidelis Partnership. Matthew joined Fidelis Insurance in 2020, bringing with him 28 years’ experience, most recently as a Senior Claims Advocate and Director at Willis Towers Watson. Matthew has experience in multiple classes of business both in technical and operational roles. Matthew is also a founding committee member and Director of IFASIC VZW, a leading European charitable educational conference provider who host conferences globally specialising in Fine Art and Specie Insurance

Matt brings over 10 years of prior experience in handling claims within the London market, before which he earned a Masters in International Relations from the University of Exeter.

Neale is Marine Claims Manager at The Fidelis Partnership. Neale joined Fidelis Insurance in 2021 from Swiss Re Corporate Solutions . Neale has over 35 years of experience working in both the Lloyds and Company markets and has a wealth of knowledge of Marine claims, dealing with a multitude of lines of business within the Marine sector. Neale is an active participant on the Joint Marine Claims Committee (JMCC) and the International Cargo Insurance Conference (ICIC).

Neil brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, focusing on a variety of classes of business including Property D&F, Real Estate, Energy, Contingency, Fine Art & Specie and Marine. He began his career at Aon later joining a Lloyd’s syndicate. After this, Neil was at Sedgwick for 18 years, focusing on developing the claims underwriting team. Prior to joining Fidelis MGU, he worked at Everest handling its Lloyd’s and non-bureau business. Neil has a Business and Technology Education Council degree in Business & Finance from South East Essex College.

Tracy joins from Pro Insurance Solutions Limited where she was a P&C claims adjuster, and legacy claims handler, prior to that Tracy was a legacy claims handler at RSA and travel insurance claims handler at AXA. Tracy graduated from the University of West Indies and University of Technology with a BSc Hospitality and Tourism Management and is CII qualified.

Mr Brindle is Group CEO and Chairman of The Fidelis Partnership. Mr. Brindle has a career of over 35 years in the insurance industry. Before establishing Fidelis Insurance, Richard was the driving force behind Lancashire, founding the company in October 2005 and acting as CEO until April 2014. Lancashire’s innovative and rigorous underwriting approach meant it consistently outperformed its insurance peers. Richard’s insurance career began in 1984 at Posgate and Denby Managing Agency, and since then has included spells at Syndicate 488, Charman Underwriting – where he was the main underwriter – Tarquin Underwriting from 1991 to 1998, and Ascot Underwriting Agency, where he was a non-executive board member from December 2001 to September 2005.

Richard is Deputy Group CUO and CEO of Insurance at The Fidelis Partnership. Rich Coulson joined Fidelis Insurance in 2015. With over 20 years of insurance industry experience, including both underwriting and broking, Rich joined Fidelis from RK Harrison, where he was Executive Director of Political Risk, Structured Credit and Surety. His early career was spent at MMC Capital and Marsh, where he focused on structuring alternative risk transfer, and captive solutions. After Marsh, Rich spent three years at Hiscox underwriting the company’s space and satellite and offshore energy books – winning the Hiscox Award for Innovation whilst there, before returning to broking and serving as a partner at JLT, specialising in Credit and Political Risk. Rich was elected a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Insurers and Chartered Institute of Risk Management eleven years ago and during his career has also won the IRM Award for Risk Analysis excellence and an ABI Young Insurer of the Year award – recognising his work on developing innovative new products within the insurance industry. Rich is a member of the Executive Committee.

Michael is UK CUO & Group Head of D&F Property, Energy and Construction at The Fidelis Partnership. Michael joined Fidelis Insurance from AXA XL in March 2020. After graduating from Oxford University with a Master of Physics degree in 2003, he joined Lane Clark & Peacock Actuarial Consultancy. He joined Catlin in 2008 and qualified as Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA). He was the property actuary responsible for pricing, reserving and capital modelling for all property lines worldwide across the group. He moved over onto the underwriting side in 2010 as class underwriter writing International and US D&F property business for the Lloyd’s of London Syndicate. He progressed to Underwriting Manager and established the middle market cost centre writing a combination of delegated authority and open market business. Michael will be writing a shared and layered D&F portfolio through the London Market Wholesale Broker network.

Robert is Ireland CEO and Pine Walk Europe CEO & CFO at The Fidelis Partnership. Robert joined Fidelis Insurance in September 2018. With over 18 years experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, Robert was most recently at PartnerRe where he worked for 5 years in various finance roles including Head of External Reporting and as CFO of PartnerRe’s insurance entity. Robert began his career with PwC Dublin before transferring to their London office, working in the Global Capital Markets Group. He joined Aviva from PwC, working in Group Finance in London and managing their reinsurance captive in Dublin. He is a fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Ireland, qualifying in 2004.

Debbie Leen is Group Head of People at The Fidelis Partnership. Debbie joined the company in April 2023 as Head of Human Resources (HR). She has almost 30 years of experience within HR in financial services across insurance broking and underwriting, investment banking, investment management and wealth management. Prior to joining The Fidelis Partnership, Debbie worked at Arrow Global Group where she was HR Director for the investments division. She is a generalist and business partner by background with an interest across all aspects of HR. Debbie also has a degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Central Lancashire.

Charles is Deputy Chairman & Group Executive Director at The Fidelis Partnership. Charlie joined Fidelis Insurance in 2015 and brings over three decades of broking and underwriting experience.  Charlie was previously at Lancashire until November 2015 where he was Chief Risk Officer with responsibility for the group’s enterprise risk management. He started at Lancashire at its launch in October 2005, and his roles there also included Chief Underwriting Officer of the Bermuda entity and Group Underwriting Operations Director. Prior to 2005 he held a number of roles with brokers and MGAs in London, the USA and Mexico. Charlie is a member of the Executive Committee.

Hinal Patel is Group CFO of The Fidelis Partnership and Non-Executive Director of Fidelis Insurance Group.  He has more than 20 years of industry experience, specifically focused on the actuarial and financial sides of the sector. Patel joined Fidelis in 2015 as Group Chief Actuary, later becoming Group CFO in 2017 until the bifurcation of the company in the beginning of 2023. As Group CFO, he is responsible for the finance, investment, actuarial and corporate finance functions.  Prior to his time at Fidelis, Patel spent 12 years at Catlin as Bermuda Chief Actuary, overseeing actuarial, catastrophe modelling and capital functions for its Bermuda entity. He has also worked at a number of actuarial consultancies and graduated from the London School of Economics.

Rinku is an ICAEW qualified accountant having trained with BDO and moving to Andersen. Rinku was CFO/COO of DUAL, CFO of Howden and Director of Finance at Hyperion before consulting in 2016/7 supporting a number of businesses in the intermediary space.  Industry Experience includes Software Development, Information businesses and Insurance (at DUAL, Howden and Hyperion).  Rinku founded Pine Walk in 2017 with Fidelis, as an MGA incubator, raised finance for Pine Walk and Radius and has since set up a further 6 MGAs.

Wendy is Head of Technical Operations at The Fidelis Partnership. She joined Fidelis Insurance in May 2017 bringing with her more than 30 years of experience, most recently as a Senior eMessaging Expert and Bureau Technical Accounts Manager at Swiss Re. Wendy has strong experience in both technical and operational roles, specifically focusing on electronic messaging areas and building electronic interfaces to handle the processing of ACORD messages for both the premium and claims workstreams. This includes both the ACORD4ALL and Ruschlikon EBOT and ECOT messaging initiatives.

Grahame is UK CFO & Group Controller at The Fidelis Partnership. Grahame has over 25 years' experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Grahame was previously at Aspen Insurance Group where he worked for 17 years in various finance roles, including as Group Financial Controller and most recently as Group Chief Accounting Officer and UK CFO. Prior to joining Aspen, Grahame was at KPMG in the Insurance audit practice where he was responsible for a portfolio of London market and international clients. Grahame began his career at Sedgwick Lloyd’s Underwriting Agency.  He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, qualifying in 1997.

Michelle is Head of Underwriting Governance at The Fidelis Partnership. Michelle joined The Fidelis Partnership in 2024 from the Fidelis Insurance Group, where she was the Irish Chief Risk Officer. Michelle has over 15 years of experience in insurance across a variety of governance, risk and finance roles.  Michelle previously worked at Everest Insurance, the Central Bank of Ireland and PwC. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a Bachelors in Business and Law from University College Dublin.

Natalie serves as the Group Communications Manager and Head of Charity Partnerships at The Fidelis Partnership. In this role, she manages all internal and external communications for the firm and oversees charity partnerships through The Fidelis Foundation. She joined Fidelis Insurance in 2020, working in the CEO’s office. Before joining Fidelis MGU, Natalie worked at MVision Private Equity Advisers, where she collaborated closely with the CEO on media relations and events. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from the University of Otago.

Chris joined The Fidelis Partnership in 2023 as the Group Chief Risk Officer, responsible for the global operations including those in Bermuda, the UK, and Ireland. He has over 20 years of financial services experience including leadership positions in New York, Sydney and London. Prior to joining Fidelis, Chris was the Group Chief Risk Officer for AmTrust International where he oversaw the Risk Management/ORSA, Exposure Management and Operational Risk functions. He also served as the Group Chief Auditor. Before joining AmTrust, Chris was a Director in the EMEIA Insurance Practice for EY.

Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University's Questrom School of Business as a Sherbourne Scholar and Member of the Lock Honour Society. He holds several professional memberships and qualifications.

Gareth is the Bermuda CFO and Group Treasurer at The Fidelis Partnership and a member of the Bermuda Executive Committee. Gareth has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry with significant experience in deal evaluation, execution, integration and carve-out separation from a financial and operational perspective. Prior to joining Fidelis, Gareth was a director in EY’s Strategy and Transactions teams in London and more recently in Bermuda. Gareth is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda.

Andy is Chief Technology Officer at The Fidelis Partnership. With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, Andy joined Fidelis Insurance from Hiscox Re in 2015. As Head of Systems and Lead System Architect he was responsible for the architecture, design, construction and support of their core business systems, leveraging his deep technical knowledge and business expertise. Prior to joining Hiscox in 2011, Andy held several roles with companies in Canada and Bermuda, including the Royal Bank of Canada Financial Group, Paragon Bermuda, Logic Communications, and his own consulting firm FAIT Accomplis Solutions Inc.

Born in October 2015, Phenny has been a part of the Fidelis Insurance team her whole life and continues her important duties at The Fidelis Partnership. Bringing a natural joie de vivre, she happily greets and plays with clients and brokers especially when furnished with treats!

Born in April 2015, Phenny’s boisterous brother Salvador joined Fidelis Insurance in 2018 to share the Chief Canine Officer duties. Phenny & Salvador love nothing more than sharing client and broker entertainment and will continue to do so at The Fidelis Partnership!
